Federal Plan for Implementation of Emergency Paid Leave and Employer Tax Credits
Information about the emergency paid leave provisions of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) and the government’s plan for implementation follows.
Employees of employers of less than 500 employees are eligible for emergency paid leave in accordance with the provisions of the FFCRA unless their employer is exempted.
The expected effective dates of the FFCRA are April 2, 2020 through December 31, 2020.
